Are you going to turn out the Majority Leader to elect a moron that thinks we can barter with modern medicine....seriously? You'll vote out a person that can deliver the bacon for a person that thinks we can trade chikens?

1. It will be terrible if Reid loses to her of all people.

Because she even makes Palin look brilliant and that's hard to do.

Even if you were an independent who didn't like Reid, at least you can say he isn't a moron.

Polls show Reid about 8 points behind Lowden but that number has not changed in a long time. So, she has not widened the gap but he is not closing it, either. There is a lot of anti-Reid sentiment these days but it's too early to tell. I think she hurt herself with the chickens for health care remark. We have a lot of backwards people in Nevada but most are aware doctors don't want livestock for payment. Reid's war chest is huge and he's been in tough races before so he could pull it off. A week ago I'd have said 80% certain he'll lose it. Since the chicken remarks, his chances have improved.

This is all assuming Lowden wins the Republican primary. That is not a foregone conclusion as there are quite a few running.
