Two comments on the AZ Immigration Law
1. AZ Agribusiness, construction trade, etc. will still get it's slave wage work done by hiring illegally.
We will still continue to subsidize their workers for them via medical and other aid programs (indirect corporate welfare).

If the inbreds think this race-based profiling nonsense will stop illegal immigration then they are dumber than originally suspected.

Go to the source...imprison those that hire illegally and take away their businesses.

2. Why not creatively fight this law?
Why not have a Mexican-American get "lawyered up", dress as a farm worker, hang out at Home Depot parking lot or walk down the road with a plastic jug of water (you know...fit the stereotype), be bugged with audio and video, and when the police come to harass him record it all.
Entrap these Nazis.

1. I read a book by a German WWII veteran a few years ago.
I can't remember the title but he told about going on leave. German troops that wanted to enjoy their leave avoided big cities if they could. This was in 1942, before the effective bombing raids. What they wanted to avoid was the harassment from the Gestapo and police. The authorities were so paranoid about deserters that troops on leave were constantly stopped and asked to produce papers. It made moving around the big cities a hassle. If they went to a smaller resort town the local cops would check them out once and they were free to enjoy themselves.

2. Even Better...Organize, Organize, Organize
Show these buttholes how many legals there are in the state and energize them to vote. Surely a strong voter registration effort in Pima and Maricopa Counties could have some interesting affects in the November elections. In '04, boooshie got about 40% of the Hispanic vote...the high water mark...I see the GOOP now getting 10%, just like the black vote (who also needs to be energized and organized as well...another post, another day).

Next, I'd love to see all Hispanic workers...or those of Hispanic heritage stage a national strike. One day without people cleaning pools, working the meat processing factories, serving drinks, cleaning latrines and serving the fast food. But this would go further...as it would also paralyze many industries where skilled Hispanic offer many valuable services. Let it ripple around...give people something to think about.

Cheers...

GO AFTER THE DAMN EMPLOYERS!!!

My idea: make it so that any illegal immigrant that outs his/her employer as hring illegal workers gets his/her status legalized. that will end hiring of illegal labor real quick and the demand will be cut off.
