1. Wingnuts thing we went directly from Carter to Clinton to Obama
and don't admit anything went wrong with their dogma during any of their rotten administrations.

Every GOP who has gotten into office has increased unemployment, decreased wages, and generally caused mayhem in the consumer economy. That's from Eisenhower (3 recessions) onward. It's their dogma that is at fault. It's not the few Democratic administrations we've had.

But try to explain this to a wingnut and he'll start babbling taking points, eyes glazed over, like he's repeating some sort of mantra to center himself and guard himself from werewolves.

It's really the same behavior you see with any cultist. It's not a political party over there any more. Bereft of dogma since that dogma has been a proven failure, it's devolved into a cult.

That fact is always left out of their rants.

4. The only reference I've ever heard to 'surplus' is
that it was a 'projected' surplus. Not even real. Nope. The way I understand it: Obama created the problem and bush is now solving it.

5. It's Bush's fault, all right. But there was no economic "collaspe."
It was a planned demolition.
