http://bayareahouston.blogspot.com/2007/05/harris-county-tax-assessor-paul.html

This is just how low the Republicans in Texas and specifically in Harris county are going to stoop.

There is a bill that will require 3 forms of ID when registering to vote, including a birth certificate, all due to "voter fraud" which really isnt a big problem here. The bill is nothing more than a voter suppression bill designed to limit the ass kicking the republicans are going to get in Texas in 2008.

So the Harris County Tax Assessor issues a bogus voter fraud story INCLUDING video of a registeration form with DEMOCRAT and BLACK listed as party affiliation and race.

BUT.....Texas registeration forms DO NOT HAVE party affiliation or race on their forms!!!!!!

Something stinks in Texas.

Again.

http://www.statesman.com/news/content/region/legislature/stories/05//04//4voterid.html

"Senator returns, vows to block voter ID bill"
"For now, Senate Democrats have votes needed to block measure"

fingers crossed.....
