NY Times on robocalling misses key point
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/05/04/opinion/04fri3.html?_r=1&oref=slogin

"The automated telephone call, which can be a legitimate way for candidates to get their messages out, has become a favorite dirty trick. Robocalls were used across the country last year to mislead voters into thinking a candidate was harassing them, when the calls came from the other side."

This Times editorial today on curbing deceptive robocalling, fails to mention that EVERY EXAMPLE of the misuse was by Republicans and Republicans only!! I can find no example of a Democratic candidate using deceptive robocalls.
I guess that part wasn't fit to print.
