What if you are visiting from a foreign country in Arizona?
And you can't prove you are an American citizen. Do you go to jail?

2. You might wish for the 'good ol days' of Evan Mecham
At least he just said profoundly stupid things. He didn't sign anything as awful as this current AZ fubar.

5. You don't have to prove you're a U.S. citizen . . .
only that you're in the country legally. A visiting foreigner's passport/visa should be sufficient

8. I don't think the bill outlaws visitors
I guess you'd show your passport and visa much the same as Americans do when they visit other countries.

I don't think there is an issue with visitors.

The issue is how we are treating our own citizens.

9. Passport, but you shouldn't have to show it to every podunk cop.
In fact, when I've been abroad, most tour books will advise you to leave your passport in the hotel's safe box because of risk of theft.

(I never do, because I'm used to carrying it around at all times - I don't drive, so it's my only official photo ID, so I show it to buy groceries with checks and get into nightclubs right here at home.)

Well, it's not like Arizona has any natural landmarks of note that people might want to come from all over to see, or depends a lot on tourist revenue or anything....oh wait.

13. Depends. Are these visitors white?
Otherwise they'll likely end up in one of Arpaio's prison camps.
