Westboro Baptist Church To Picket Constance McMillen's Graduation
Westboro Baptist Church has announced on their website (NFSW) that they will be picketing the graduation ceremony of Constance McMillen's high school in Mississippi.
WBC will picket the graduation of Itawamba Agricultural High School.

Wonder how the Phobes in her hometown will react.

Ben Franklin's saying has been updated to " In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death, taxes and the WBC."

on Phelps, I'm sorry.

After reading what his son wrote of growing up with this sick, violent control freak, he should be taken out of societal circulation.

13. He used to beat his family with axe handles.
And reel off strings of un-Christian curses by the multiple dozens while doing it.

I'd like to see someone go up to that group with a mattock handle and say "Recognize THIS? Stop justifying this fuck's behavior and wake up."

3. well what the good citizens need to do is get hundreds of permits
on every surrounding street and neighborhood for that day and time so that there isn't "room" left for WBC. They'll have to come picket the day before or the day after because all permits that can be issued have been issued for the day of.

Seriously.

If the city wants to help them out they should waive the permit fees for one day only as an encouragement to participate in the civics process.

8. For many of them, it's probably the closest they've ever gotten
to a graduation ceremony, High School or otherwise.

10. Can you blame them?
The more people that graduate from high school the fewer possible members this church could recruit.

12. When do our resident national theologians tell us about Yazoo City?
Since that town gave birth to Haley Barbour, I'm sure that Fred or Rush or Glenn will tell us all what horrible sin Yazoo City, Mississippi committed to bring the wrath of God down on them so severely. I mean, if God set off a volcano in Iceland as revenge for health care reform, surely there's some horrible sin that Yazoo City is getting schooled for. Right?
