or those they "think" might be Dutch who are here illegally. Haul their wooden shoe wearing, chocolate making asses into jail until they can prove they are 'Muricans. Bob Smith...sounds like a Dutch spy to me. Sally Johnson... probably here to steal our jobs....

How many white people carry their Papers and can prove that they are citizens?

PS, thanks again Arizona for taking us here in the South from the top of the WTF Leaderboard.

1. Go to the nearest pub
Either Irish or English "themed". Find the girl with the accent from the British Isles. 9 times out of ten she doesn't have a green card, is here on some sort of tourist or visitation visa, or otherwise not legally working. IIRC, the country that is the second highest source of illegal aliens in the US is Canada. I'm dubious we'll see them holding Canadians real soon.

on what do you base that little nugget? I really like posts with lots of "statistics" and IIRC but not a single source.

12. I used to work in one of those pubs. I was the only American working there
and none of the workers had a Green Card. Most of the clientele were from all over the English speaking world, like New Zealand and Australia as well. Very few were working here legally. So I know what I'm saying is anecdotal but the poster is not picking this information out of his ass. This is what pissed me off in the beginning when this immigration BS started. Every time I brought up the white illegal immigrants I was shoved aside and ignored so I knew the basis of the objection was racist and nothing more. It's the Spanish speaking people from south of the border they want to kick out, no one else.

24. Actually, anyone buying ferregn beer
It's a well known fact that only foreigners buy beer with any taste to it. Real Americans make do with carbonated dishwater like Bud and Miller. The Basha's security guard is probable taking down license plates of anyone buying Grolsch or Guiness and sending it to Gestapo headquarters Sheriff Joe to check it out.

18. Yes, inappropriate
Sorry, that expression isn't meant literally (although it's probably still close to true). It's a bit like saying "more often than not" or "most of the time". Again, expressions really not intended as quantities. Round here though I should be more specific, or literal.

15. DHS Statistics on Illegal Immigration in 2006
According to DHS from 2006, the last year on record.

PDF file at: http://www.dhs.gov/xlibrary/assets/statistics/publications/ILL_PE_2005.pdf

Illegal Immigrants by country.
Mexico 57% 6.57 million
El Salvador 4% 510,000
Guatemala 4% 430,000
Philippines 2% 280,000
Honduras 2% 280,000
India 270,000

The reason why there is very little illegal immigration from the countries you list is that there is no overriding reason to do it. It's easy to immigrate, temporarily anyhow from these places and there isn't a real economic reason to take the risk. Students who are legally here on VISA easily get Employment riders on those VISA's so no problem there.

Canadians as a group are highly educated and can pull a TN VISA almost at the drop of a hat. There is no incentive other than warm winters for Canadians to come down here illegally when they have a social safety net that puts ours to shame on damned near every level.

21. Your statistics seem a bit skewed. I don't see that anyone has
bothered to count the illegals that are working here from England, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South African Afrikaners, Kenyan British, Denmark, Sweden and Russia. I have met people from all those countries working here illegally and not just one or two but colonies of them in Los Angeles alone. But of course they are ethnic Europeans so there is no reason to count them. Most of those that are part of the former British Empire immigrate to Canada legally and then enter the USA illegally over the Canadian border. We aren't talking really about Canadians here.

Tens of thousands of them spend 4-6 months in Arizona every year.

4. I don't think they are working. That seems to be the rub. However, the
second largest number of undocumented immigrants who are working here come through Canada. Thom Hartmann just read the stats on his radio show right now.

My point is - the senior Canadians are everywhere in Arizona in unbelievable numbers. Will they be stopped and challenged to show I.D.? NO.

10. Of course not. But the big
cry baby excuse from the bigots is that they are taking jobs from Americans. My DH and I were snowbirds for many years so we met a lot of Canadians here who were escaping winter up north. Since most of them are European white, no one is going to ask them for papers. Many of them stay here year round moving around the country.

19. Number I saw many years ago.
To your point, it rarely is an issue because many of the folks who are technically illegal just haven't bothered to get the right paper work taken care of.

became an American citizen. I have a letter from the U.S consulate verifying my status as an American citizen when I was born, so that my dad could put me on his passport, when I was a baby. I later got my own passport on the strength of that letter. My parents also applied for a Certificate of Citizenship for me, which I have used to get a driver's license and my present passport. I also have my original birth certificate and a baptismal certificate that is often used instead of a birth certificate for identification.

I doubt if many of my fellow Americans, who were born here, can document themselves as well as I can, myself.

Rich people bring them over as au pairs. They are supposed to go home in six months, but many of them stay.
