Vandals smear refried beans at AZ capitol
http://www.azfamily.com/news/Swastikas-painted-with-beans-found-on-Capitol-grounds-92091314.html

PHOENIX -- Investigators are looking into a case of vandalism at the state Capitol, sparked by the newly signed anti-illegal-immigration law.

Capitol police arrived on the scene at about 6 a.m., after a swastika was found smeared on the glass doors of the House and Senate buildings.

While it first looked like mud on the doors, it turned out be refried beans.

On the sidewalk, beans were used to write "AZ=Nazi," again with a swastika.

13. So I was working at 3 AM last week and heard a sound outside my office window.
We have about two acres of shops and warehouses behind us. Someone had tagged "GO SE CHAPPS!" across one of our warehouses. If I'd looked out the window, I'd have seen them doing it.

My boss is still laughing about it. Says they'd have painted me if I'd fallen asleep. So it can be funny. :)

37. It means the post I responded to was taking things way too seriously.
Calling what was done "vandalism" and therefore denouncing such a potent statement was disingenuous. I responded to such a non-sequitur with one of my own.

40. Oh, that. One of the cops thought it was a south Austin gang.
 Sounds more like a sports team or school, but the only thing we could think of was Westlake Chapparels, and then the SE doesn't make sense.

6. I see a certain cohesive integrity at work, actually. Into the Colonial
harbor went the tea; onto the Arizona Statehouse go the beans.

I can't openly advocate defacing public buildings but as gestures go, this one has a very historical dynamic.

9. Pretty effective in the satirical grafitti department.
Y'all can moan about the evils of vandalism all you want, I give this one a thumb's up. Clean-up will be no harder than a good spring day of pollen and bird poop, anyway. (assuming there was no more permanent damage).

18. Go Burrito Bombing - In protest of AZ immigration!
Burrito Bombing: the act of hurling unwrapped bean burritos from vehicles at stationary or moving targets.
The goal is to travel an intermediate speed and "shot put" the burrito away from the car --> let the forward momentum from the car's movement guide the burrito into the unsuspecting target. SPLAT! If the burrito is "thrown" or the vehicle is traveling too fast there is a great risk the burrito will come apart and you'll be covered in burrito guts. Taco bell has cheap bean burritos. Burrito Supremes make especially nice splats but cost more. Covertables are the ideal operational platform.

Points awarded as follows:
pedestrians (front torso/face) & pets = -10pts
Residences/businesses = 5pts
Signs/mailboxes = 10pts
parked cars = 15pts
pedestrian (rear/backside) = 20pts
Limousines or Classic vehicles = 30pts
Cyclists/skaters/hippies* = 40pts
Law Enforcement Officer/car = 100pts & aggravated assault (do not pass go, do not collect $200)

*10 point penalty still applies if cyclist/skater/hippie is struck in the front torso.
**Target scoring is compounded. (ie: A hippie park ranger on his mtn bike hit in the face is worth 40+100+40-10 = 170pts)

35. As a hippie, I protest!
We who have chosen to live off little should not be burrito bombed. I say BURRITO BOMB THE RICH! There should be extra points for hitting a member of the Arizona congress. There should be extra points for burrito bombing the governor of Arizona.

33. It isn't vandalism if . . .
it can be washed away with water from a garden hose. If it was spray painted or the windows were broken, then it is vandalism. Oh no, the bean vandals or at it again! ;-) My depression era parents would be upset with me for wasting beans if I were a bean vandal.

Shouldn't it always be frowned upon?
