"Unfairly accused" of racial profiling.. and so it starts
Edited on Mon Apr-26-10 04:11 PM by SoCalDem
The verbiage has been delivered, unpacked & put in place. Today on Hardball, a guy (John Huppenthall) "explained" how the Arizona law will work.

Police will put the hammer down, and when sued, will claim he's being "unfairly accused" of racial profiling..

the victimizer becomes victim... how utterly republican :puke:

2. It's not new. White folks have always claimed to be the *real* victims...
And we will continue claiming this. Unless we stop, of course. I don't see that happening anytime soon, though.

3. This is sad
It seems there is just no way for a person of Hispanic descent to feel free. I'm not sure how they can classify it as unfairly accused. The only way this will work is if they DO racially profile people. Why isn't that illegal? Again, how did this pass? I wonder if population will decrease in the state of Arizona and rise in the bordering states like Nevada, California, New Mexico, even Utah and Colorado. It wouldn't be surprising to me.

4. Yep. that's pretty much it.
cop pulls over people , harasses them, and if they complain, the cop hollers "unfairly accused...I was just doing my job"..

This law asks the cops to profile, and if the people profiled DARE to complain, the lawsuits will stretch from here to eternity, and unless something really awful happens, the cops will walk...and will be heroes for "standing up" to the "accusations":puke:

Offense works.. it's ugly, but republicans know how to get their way, but always being on OFFENSE.

5. Criminal acts
I guess I just don't get it. So this law is supposed to lower crime. Don't most illegal immigrants try to keep a low profile so they are not found out to be illegal? Are they really out there robbing, raping, and rioting?
