2. I loved how he refused to deal with the question. |

"No, you don't understand. We are helping hispanics by reducing crime! Honest. Trust me. Really. I mean it. Cross my heart. Here, let me lift my sheet so you can see me crossing my heart. I really really really mean it. Promise."

It seems to be a habit for some people to ask why anyone is watching/listening to some objectionable program or other. But I appreciate folks who watch or listen to what I physically am unable to, and reporting a little bit on what's going on.
As to the matter at hand, let's face it: Given half an opportunity, there is no doubt in my mind that there will be bullies with badges who use the law as a means to settle personal vendettas and scores. The law is also written to encourage citizen lawsuits against governments that seem to be dragging their feet on enforcement, leaving cash-strapped cities and counties with the choice to either bully their citizens or fight an expensive lawsuit (and probably be ordered to bully their citizens anyway) brought by the most punitive and xenophobic elements in their populace.

they won't stop you just for being hispanic. you'll have to be doing something suspicious, like driving a car. because the car might be stolen. or walking down the sidewalk...because any hispanic walking down the sidewalk is at least thinking about committing a crime. the cops can tell, cause they have super powers.
SAVE ME JEEBUS next they'll be coming after longhaired godless heathens from texas, and then i'm gonna need ya'll to hide me.

11. Actually, he is repeating a script it seems. Does he realize how |
|
hollow he sounds???
He says there is a direct relationship between illegals and crime wave. Tell me who are the police going to be looking for---Mexican Immigrants. His very argument proves the result will be racial profiling.
