...which would pretty much kill the vote.

He voted for the reconciliation bill on health care/student loans too, but just when you think he is coming back to his senses, he'll go all "maverick" again and screw everything up.

I mean that honestly, who is he trying to impress by doing this? He has alienated every possible demographic in this country by voting on both sides of like every issue. Anyone with a working brain regardless of what your political ideology would never support this dude, I dont understand how hes been reelected.
