Facebook Page 'Prays' for Obama's Death

Sorry if this a dupe.

For some, it's just a Facebook page intended to get some laughs. But, for others, it's a website so offensive, they think Facebook should take it down.
The online survey asked if President Obama should be killed.

A page created by an anonymous user reads, "DEAR LORD, THIS YEAR YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE ACTOR, PATRICK SWAYZIE. YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE ACTRESS, FARAH FAWCETT. YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE SINGER, MICHAEL JACKSON. I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW, MY FAVORITE PRESIDENT IS BARACK OBAMA. AMEN."

As of Thursday evening, more than 950,000 Facebook users indicated that they "liked" the page and a steady stream of comments on the page's wall showed a relatively active membership.

But in response to the Facebook page apparently "praying" for the president's death, users launched at least three other Facebook page's denouncing the "prayer" site and lobbying for its removal.

It was alive with 60,000 members when ABC
released their story on this, last Thursday.

Interesting that ABC only listed the counter groups
with very low member numbers, not the largest group
above, endorsed by the SPLC and several other FB groups.

ABC has really gone down the drain,
they are biased and very slanted now.

The FB Admins. claim this hate page hasn't violated their
rules of conduct- REALLY!

we need to send a positive message that this stupid little prayer is nothing but hypocrisy.

3. I had to unfriend half of my relatives and

a couple of friends over their posting of this message. All allegedly strong christians. This was the last straw and a strong reminder why I am no longer a church goer - hypocrisy. I also cannot believe that there is anybody in my family stupid enough to post something like this.
