How do we employ 30+ million people and save this country? |
|
I almost see 3 parties - Democratic, Rpubs, and the Finance\Congress\Administration parties. That third one seems to be owned by Wall Street and insuring their success, which results in a funneling of the majority of the nation's wealth to a minority of people. The scraps are left for everyone else, which includes 20+ million unemployed today and millions more likely to be unemployed in the next year. States are unable to sustain their services and are likely to have deeper cuts as tax revenues continue to decline. We can tell people to go into nursing and medical tech, but if there are no taxes to pay for the hospitals, there will be no jobs. Finance used to serve as a vehicle for investing in business, but seems to no longer be in the business of building _this_ country.
We have to create wealth. The traditional way was innovation and manufacturing.
Can we revive those, do we need a different direction, or are we doomed?

1. WE just need to return to the Eisenhower tax rates and a sane economic policy. |

4. I am reading more, but would you know how likely it is that with 5 acres |
|
a person could run a small Bio Fuel operation with Algae Ponds - just speculating
Maybe on 3 acres...I know it would take some adjustments to cars, but I wonder if someone could survive what is coming that way.
Cause, frankly, I think fuel is better to stockpile and make than guns and ammo. Weed is probably good as well, but I want something I can more easily sell today - well, shoot, that doesn't leave out the weed either. ;)
But is small-scale fuel production worth pursuing?

5. I'm no expert on the algae bio-fuel. |

My brother is however. I'll run that by him and get back to you.
The web link in my sig line is the site I built for him, but needs updating real bad. Never enough time.
We're working on high-powered, water-cooled LED grow lights right now, so we kind of got sidetracked on that. We want to get the first really kick ass, high powered, reasonably priced LED grow light on the market. Everybody is waiting.

6. Repealing NAFT helps stop the damage, of course, but |
|
we still have to create and build. A lot of that capacity is so gone...and the suits at the trading desk have their hands on our throats. gasp.
thank you
