Need Help with Email

I am so frustrated with the new Vista email...I can not find a link, a message or anything in the program that lets me delete the previous message when I send a reply. I hate the junked up emails. In my old XP they had a link where you could tell the program to delete the previous message. I can't find it in the Vista...could some body help this unsophisticated computer user.

Is it Outlook? Outlook Express? What version?

Vista didn't use Outlook. MS changed the name to Vista mail.
there should be a tutorial online somewhere.
I use Thunderbird so I'm not much help

3. Thanks - I haven't heard of it ...

Another Vista clunker. We use Outlook here and have some Win 7 boxes; I'll have to check what default email app came with it.

4. OK, try this ...

highlight the message you want to delete, right-click on it and if there is a Delete item in the popup, select it.

While this is no panacea, at least this can get rid of some of the messages.
