Maybe now that you know me I should introduce myself.

I'm a guy who didn't pay attention in english class in school as you can clearly see because at the time I couldn't see how learning to write was going to help me to build the things I have in my head that I want to build. School was only getting in the way. I mention this so you know why I can't properly put down in words my thoughts and sometimes come across a little brass and a lot of times uneducated. I'm a person who likes to read about new ideas and as I'm reading these ideas I'm building them or doing it, whatever I'm reading, in my mind's eye just as sure as If I was actually doing it. All for storing that knowledge for later use. I realize thats not good for debating but thats how I do it. I don't come to debate because I don't pay much attention to the little tidbits as much as I do the message. In other words to me it matters not the color of the two cars in the accident it only matters that they wrecked, if you get my drift.
I like to build things and have been creating my toys since I was old enough to pick up a hammer. For the most part, unless I'm being paid, I never build something to someone else's plans only to my own. Me drawing on all those air castles I've built in my mind back through the years in all those stories, discoveries, things I've read and in some cases dreamed about.
I'm sixty two years old and coming to the end of my stay here in this body as we all do, always have and I don't want to go away misunderstood. My hope though, mind you, is that will be a long time from now. Funny how that works where a man can feel a kindred too, or a love for, a name, a moniker maybe, personalities for sure but never really meet the person behind that keyboard, behind that curtain. A place where we have to learn to trust each other.
Anyways just in case any one this morning could give a rats ass about me. For some reason I felt I wanted to say this as I never did introduce myself when I showed up here years ago, I just came crashing though the door best I remember. :-)

I admit (being 61 myself) that you and I both are on the downside of lifespan, but you have so much to give and contribute. It is hard being a liberal in Oklahoma, my cousin said that once I moved away there were only two left in the state. (She obviously doesn't know YOU!) Stay strong, brother, and keep showing up here. You are too cool to fade away.
