Every cause has extremists willing to blow stuff up these days.



The three members – two men and a woman – of the Italian terrorist group Il Silvestre were stopped just a few miles from their target with their explosive device primed and ready to go.
Italians Costantino Ragusa and Silvia Guerini, together with Italian-Swiss Luca Bernasconi, were arrested and jailed after a search of their vehicle revealed the bomb.

1. Seems to me 'eco-terrorists' shouldn't be setting things aflame

Like those environmental crusaders who set SUVs on fire, releasing more dangerous pollutants in minutes than they would have emitted in years.

Like most of the Weather Underground stuff, they destroy property.

In my day we called it vandalism. We still do if they are tea partiers.

4. Vandalism?

It's only vandalism if there is no intent to spread fear or hate and advance an agenda. Vandalism is spray painting an overpass or breaking a window with no other intent. Big difference between that and WU, eco-terrorism, tea parties.
