15. When are people going to realize that "global warming" doesn't |
mean that it won't get cold or snow at odd times? When heat causes water to evaporate into the air it's going to come down as rain or snow. "So much for global warming" Hannity says that every time it either snows when it shouldn't, or gets cold when you think it shouldn't be.

19. It's clear that you have no idea who I am. You don't have to explain anything |
to me. And you damn sure have no basis on which to compare me to Shammity.
You, and others in this subthread, could use a lesson in recognizing sarcasm without the sarcastist having to provide a :sarcasm: icon. You'll notice the OP has readily recognized my comment as sarcasm because she is familiar with me and my opinions, though she's not always thrilled by them.

3. A foot!? It seems to have let up here, but maybe it's just |
gathering strength. I think we should send it on up to Canada. They know how to deal with snow.

23. Yup, we're amazingly green for this point of the year... |
Cherry trees are blossoming all over the place. I've had to cut my grass twice already. Can't remember having to cut this early in April in years.

It will probably head up into Quebec, or maybe out to sea. And maybe die out and warm up en route.

16. And on the other hand - no snow in Minnesota since February |
and March used to be the 2nd snowiest month here. I can remember a blizzard in the middle of April but the temps have been above normal and the trees are pretty much all leafed out already.

32. Smugg's is actually down several feet this year resulting in their early closure for the season :( |
It was a VERY rough year for Smugg's, we have a place there.... they made snow most of the winter (first time, they usually return the equipment first week of January) until it picked up Presidents week, then it warmed up, conditions this year were pretty bad overall (even had to open 2 weeks late).... This snow is a bit of a slap.... we needed it months ago.
