A new mini-sport. Defriending Facebook friends who post anti-Obama garbage.

Lately there's been a spate of reprehensible anti-Obama groups on Facebook. So it is an easy way to prune the "Friends" list. Can't wait until some of them start emailing me asking why!

Aside from that, Facebook is turning out to be a fairly useless waste of time...

1. Yes, that can be awkward

Oddly enough, Raleigh, most of the ones I know are my relatives--in North Carolina!

Several of them posted anti-HCR/Obama=socialist type stuff, now that idiotic "Dear Lord, you took away my favorite actor Patrick Swayze" thing.

There's a petition going against that one; I think they all just thought it was really, really clever.

And, as usual, most/all of them are working class folk who stand to benefit from HCR.

2. Every time I go to my face book page there is a right wing add to the right.

I click to delete it and when asked why I say distasteful.
