Time to get the Wall Street bankers attention.
They blow off the Senators and just about laugh in their faces. Millions have suffered and lost about everything because of their greedy action.
Perhaps if thousands showed up at their house at night with pitchforks and torches. How about some Second Amendment demonstration with thousands of armed people showing up in front of the banks? It's time to put some fear into them. That might get their attention.

2. The senators seemed basically incompetent
They didn't have their questioning organized. Neither Democrats nor Republicans seemed to have their lines of questioning organized and divided up among their members.

The paperwork was a shambles. There were far more pages in the books than they were going to reference and they kept jumping around.

They appeared not to understand pretty basic concepts of derivatives trading and what the actual rules of the game are.

3. the fix is in--has been in for a long time now.
This wasn't a "hearing" with Senators asking tough questions and getting to the point.

This was Al frigging Capone showing up at a Chicago City Council meeting and informing the aldermen and all of us) how things are.

The power in that "hearing" room was all on one side of the table, and it wasn't the side with the people who run for office for a living.

torches and pitchforks is the only way out of the situation we are in.

4. There were many cases in the early history of
this country where merchants with held food waiting for a price increase and the people rioted, took the food and burned the store. They also went to the merchants and politicians homes and burned their furniture too. Ahhh the good ole days.
