DC Madam about to go public
Source: Capital Hill Blue

By MATTHEW BARAKAT

A prominent military consultant and a Bush administration official have already been linked to a Washington, D.C.-area escort service that prosecutors contend was a prostitution ring. Others soon could join them after a television newsmagazine reports what it learned from the accused madam's phone records.

The ABC News show "20/20" on Friday plans to air what it has learned about Deborah Jeane Palfrey's business from 46 pounds of phone records she gave the network before a judge's order barring her from releasing them took effect.

1. The decibel level in D.C. will quadruple
when all those angry wives find themselves shamed in front of the whole world. A whole city of unfaithful men (and more than a few women, no doubt) are going to find themselves sleeping in the garage this Friday night...

2. They are saying something different on "General Discussion"
ABC might have killed the story. Let's hold out until there is proof.

(I just hope she kept a copy.)

17. I though he was a Jeff Gannon fan, and that photo on Election night
taken in the White House is probably a violation of the Hatch Act. Rove said he "knew" that Shrub won in 2004 because he had the results from every precinct.

4. Well, according to the 20/20 sight it's still on..
And even if they DO kill the story she seems intent on having her say somehow. It's just not fair that she be prosecuted for something she was assured was "legal" when all these high up goverment officials used her services.

8. Attorneys have been hired to try and block naming names
But they won't tell who their clients are. The 20/20 guy said this morning it's a little hard to take a name off a list and not mention him when they won't even tell you who they are talking about.

5. I don't generally give much credibility to Capitol Hill Blue
but my Tivo's description of tonight's 20/20 does say that Palfrey will be on, so I'll record it and check it out. Thanks!

11. I believe Palfrey gave the records to ABC before a court order would had prevented it.

14. That would be fair...
The rich powerful johns can buy their way off the list, while the poor dumb ones get smeared. Or...perhaps GOP ones of worthy note are excluded at the expense of 'those' democrats.

Let the public decide in the No Spill Zone of full disclosure.

(I'd like to think it'll og the other way, but somehow....)

9. They have arraigned to post them on-line as well:)
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18478020/

snippets-

The results of the investigation – which included spotting Mr Tobias's number – will be aired on ABC tonight. The network says the logs include calls from and to "a Bush administration economist, the head of a conservative think-tank, a prominent CEO, several lobbyists and a handful of military officials". It has not confirmed whether these people will be named.

Ms Palfrey and Mr Sibley have yet to decide what to do with those documents. But Mr Sibley assured the FT that if he "did not appear on a regular basis" he had made arrangements for the records to be published online "for the whole world to see".

18. I am not thrilled about this ...
I worry that power and privilege make a lot of people (sadly, on both sides of the aisle), do some things that may be perceived as questionable ... but believe me if there aren't a lot of Dems on that list I'll be screaming "the horror, the horror," from the rooftops.

19. Capitolhillblue
is NOT a valid news source, and should be taken with a boulder of Salt, no matter if you want to believe them or not..

They've fooled a lot of people on many occasions.

Just so you know. I'm amazed they aren't banned.

ABC crapped out and said that there were no WH staff on the list after all. No new revelations.
