So I gave a quick call to Senator Schumer's office yesterday (RE: judicial nominations) |
|
I was very politely inquring as to Democrats picking up the pace on many of President Obama's District Courts & Court of Appeals nominees, who are awaiting the full senate vote (many have been waiting 6 months+ for their vote)..
I talked for about a minute, the guy asked my zip code, (I'm not from NY), then he said "since you're not from NY I have to end the call now", but he appreciated my concerns...
I guess the lesson for the day is, don't call an out of state senator, (even if he sits on the Judiciary Committee, which means he represents more than just those from New York), :banghead:

1. Well, next time he or the DSCC asks money for his reelection campaign, you'll known what to answer. |
