4. In last night's debate he said employers should be allowed to fire people if they are gay
he retracted that today. He's a douche.

12. He actually said that?
What a slimeball! :grr:

Was there a follow-up? Was he asked if it was also alright to fire unmarried employees who are sexually active or married employees who cheat on their spouses? Or ... is homosexuality the only "moral" reason to fire someone? :eyes:

14. There was sort of a follow up
The question was along the lines of "Do you believe employers should be able to fire homosexuals purely on the reason of being gay alone". He tried to give a long answer about how it should be up to the employer to decide. After that he was asked again "So the answer is yes?" and he replied "yes".

Today he is trying to say he didn't understand the question.

7. that's no gaffe. That's my wife.
(sorry) :)

"seriesly" he meant what he said and said what he meant. It endeared him to 22% of the population. unfortunately, that is the same 22% that 8 out of the other 9 aimed for, too. Ron Paul was the only one who spoke without forked tongue.
