That's it...I will never buy a Hyundai Tucson.
Edited on Wed Apr-28-10 08:54 PM by Atman
The car is named after a town in Arizona. Therefore, I can no longer support the South Korean car maker.

It's pointless, I know. But it makes me feel good about myself for being so politically active. Now, where's my iced tea?

8. Oh, I fondly recall the Chevy Citation, the Phoenix twin...
I more fondly recall the day I got rid of it for an AMC Concord. Which could hardly be called a step up.

Wow. I'm a poster child for bad American cars.

Just sayin.'

I'm totally disgusted by the Arizona law. I've been there, I loved the state. I cannot possibly go back as a result of this law. But the boycott threads that are sprouting up are comical. The people of Arizona didn't write the law, a bunch of pandering, grandstanding politicians did. Lots of good people live in Arizona. We should punish their stupid idiot so-called leaders, not the people just trying to live their lives.

I tried to use a bit of absurdity to bring light to the subject, but good ol' DU never lets me down.

13. And yet the boycott threats are apparently having an effect.
It has whipped up a lot of press on the issue and they are on the defensive and looking weak and scared.

Your threads, on the other hand, are having the effect of flattening out the subject so that it appears to be less important than it is.

Maybe you should think a little more before you go running to google looking for random words relating to Arizona?

19. Yup, fun and enlightening too.
I miss it. But I think the main reason is because we don't have a common enemy anymore.

Obama has taken the stuffing out of me. Conversely, I seem to have lost hope.

Know what I mean?

that they cancel my subscription, and gargle my balls.
