Watching Waco:Rules of Engagement |

and I don't care what anyone says, everything after "knock, knock-we have a warrant" is the Branch-Davidians fault. Every single death at Waco was their fault. Instead of answering the door they felt bullets would be better.

Also, he was abusing children as we found out later. All the more reason that what Janet Reno did was right.

4. Never saw anyone defending the cult |

I have seen people criticising paramilitary law enforcement's heavy-handedness when dealing with a building full of children.

3. It was a total strategic and tactical disaster |

The ATF completely botched the whole affair. Regardless of what you think of the B.D.s the ATF showed that they have the planing brains of a flat worm, if that. The questions I have is why didn't they pick up Koresh at Lubys were he ate weekly? Why the need for an armed invasion with embedded media? How did the ATFools think to surprise the Davidians by approaching in rattily cattle trailers down a long curving drive ( you can hear those things for 2-3 miles on gravel roads)?
You can defend Janet Reno but can you defend stupid?
