So, what if I want to boycott Oklahoma?
It's because of the new rape-victims-a-second-time law. What companies are based there?

7. I mean the new anti-abortion law.
It REQUIRES women to have a vaginal ultrasound before the procedure and to have one during the procedure in such a way that the patient can see the procedure occurring on the ultrasound.

4. Oklahoma and Arizona -- what teabag/Republican rule looks like.
I hope the hell this crap helps motivates Dem voters.

Check out the Economy section of wikipedia Oklahoma entry, maybe that will get you started:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oklahoma#Economy

More specifics at link but initial summary:

Based in the sectors of aviation, energy, transportation equipment, food processing, electronics, and telecommunications, Oklahoma is an important producer of natural gas, aircraft, and food.<5> The state ranks second in the nation for production of natural gas,<59> and is the 27th-most agriculturally productive state, ranking 5th in production of wheat.<60> Four Fortune 500 companies and three Fortune 1000 companies are headquartered in Oklahoma,<61> and it has been rated one of the most business-friendly states in the nation,<62> with the 7th-lowest tax burden in 2007.<63> From 2000 to 2006, Oklahoma's gross domestic product grew 50 percent, the fifth-highest rate in the nation. It had the fastest-growing GDP between 2005 and 2006, increasing from $122.5 to $134.6 billion, a jump of 10.8 percent,<7> and its gross domestic product per capita grew 5.9 percent from $36,364 in 2006 to $38,516 in 2007, the third-fastest rate in the nation. Its 2007 per capita GDP ranked 41st among the states.<64> Though oil has historically dominated the state's economy, a collapse in the energy industry during the 1980s led to the loss of nearly 90,000 energy-related jobs between 1980 and 2000, severely damaging the local economy.<65> Oil accounted for 17 percent of Oklahoma's economic impact in 2005,<66> and employment in the state's oil industry was outpaced by five other industries in 2007.<67>

5. I live here...
This should get overturned in the courts, and challenges have already been filed. Please hold off! Anyway, there is really nobody to boycott except Bank of Oklahoma, some oil companies, Hobby Lobby, and Sonic.

It would be awesome if all the women of OK ( the right thinking ones, anyway) just refuse to do anything until the law is struck down.

No going to work, no child-rearing, no housework, no sex, no teaching, researching, doctoring, nursing, no consuming of anything. Maybe they could all just leave the state for a while and leave their dumbass men to their own devices (and I realize not all OK men are dumbasses. Those who aren't could go with the ladies and refuse to do anything for OK themselves.)

Maybe men would give a shit then? Maybe the legislators would realize we women are not their fuck toys nor are we their vehicles to use to make their corrupt, perverted, evil selves look "moral."

Get your goddamned moral "fix" by being decent people. Not by using women to "prove" how saintly you ARE NOT.
