Good to me right now...If Meek does not make a real move, I will have no choice.
I still think Crist HAS TO declare who he will caucus with, then the decision becomes much easier.
I think Crist is a good guy, the pukes don't deserve him!

1. I voted for Jim Jeffords for years. |
|
My impression of Crist is that he's no Jim Jeffords.

2. I'm with you. I won't ever vote for a repuke, but Crist was always to the Left |
|
of most in the GOP, and a fair number of DLC Dems, too. He's been a breath of fresh air after eight years of that fucktard Jebby.

4. That's what a lot of people here don't get about FL Dems |
|
and the main reason why I'm a registered independent and work hard for progressive candidates who support progressive values. When the FL Dem party moves in that direction, sign me up.

3. He won't hurt the Democratic cause |
|
If he has an 'I' next to his name, it will give him political cover to buck the Republican party. The few remaining moderate Republicans in the Senate are too afraid of the tea baggers to actually work with the Democrats to produce legislation.

5. You have many more registered Democrats in Fla than Republicans |
|
yet, Republicans run the state.
Crist will keep his options open and not say with whom he will caucus until the election is over.---Just a guess.

8. The FL Dem party keeps running crap DLC candidates |
|
ones that are owned by developers and other corporate interests. It's usually a case of voting for the lesser of evils down here-though I'm fortunate to that Grayson as my congress critter. Bill Nelson, on the other hand, sells us out far, far too often. He's not as bad as Martinez, of course, but he's a centrist at best. If they offered some traditional Democrats to voters this would be a Dem controlled State.
