Rachel Maddow is Tough, Inelligent, Informed, Fair and Compassionate
She truly is as Michael Moore said, a National Treasure. Her ability to recall facts and to get to the truth always astounds me. She always goes to the extreme to be fair and allow others to talk. And if she ever makes a mistake she always quickly offers an apology and admits the error. But she is seldom wrong. Contrast her style to the yelling matches on every program on Fox News.

I believe if every member of the White House Press Corp had the integrity, tenacity, awareness and appetite for the truth as Rachel obviously has, the US would not have gone to war against Iraq. They would have asked the right questions and they would not have backed down when they were told blatant lies by GW Bush.

I know it might be a stretch, but I almost believe if you combined the entire journalistic abilities of the entire WHPC you still couldn't match the talents of Rachel Maddow. Okay, I'm biased, but she is one awesome human being and an excellent journalist.

4. I've no doubt she could go toe to toe with the best of them...
And do us proud. She can be a scaredy cat on occasion, but I'll take that over being over-confident any day.

Cheers for Rachel! Even my former-Republican father loves her! I think she may be part of the reason he jumped ship and voted for Obama, and is now a devout Democrat for the first time in his life.

8. She is real joyful in her broadcast.
You can tell she enjoys her work, that is always a good thing also, and something worth mentioning. She does seem to dig a bit more then some shows also.

13. I HATE RACHEL MADDOW
Psych! I love her. Her show is both serious and fun. Last night's takedown of Dan Stein was masterful. After his sorry performance, FAIR's board probably wishes they could send him to BOAT JAIL.

I just wish Rachel would drop that dumb Senate campaign and stay at MSNBC. :)

14. I admire Maddow but wonder how long it will take for the MSM/Pugs to take her down?
Edited on Fri Apr-30-10 06:17 PM by Frustratedlady
Just in the last couple weeks, I've seen the Pugs taking her down and trying to destroy her. Is she getting to hot for them? Too close to the truth? I'm sure she makes them nervous.

They will become more desperate. The more they push her the stronger she becomes.

16. She's great.

I've been a fan since her days with Chuck D and Lizz Winstead on Air America. She's doing an excellent job uncovering news no one wants to touch and she's well on the way to becoming a journalistic force to be reckoned with.

17. I record Ed Schultz, Keith Olbermann & Rachel Maddow each night - I always watch Rachel first
Edited on Fri Apr-30-10 07:42 PM by GreenTea
after all has been recorded and I start watching the recorded stuff after I've watched the Daily Show to it's conclusion at 8:30 (Pacific Time) or after Bill Maher's HBO Real Time on Friday nights.

I love Rachel Maddow's preparedness, always ready & fully prepared, she obviously loves what she is doing, she is very sharp and quite clever, must also have a great staff as well.

Rachel's passion for progressive issues clearly comes through loud & clear on television.

I love how Rachel's anger shows when she is interviewing an arrogant & complete liar who is dancing around the subject or issue with semantics or never actually answering the questions or constancy changing the subject (as last night, the guy from FAIR) these assholes clearly drive Rachel crazy & angry....I love it because it does show on her face and her demeanor...even though she tries so very hard not to show it....She probably feels and believes it's not professional to show ones emotions as a television "hostess", especially anger, also and understandably Rachel probably does not to give the satisfaction of her anger to some asshole interviewee as the aforementioned. However, I do love seeing Rachel's passion expressed, since I too am an extremely passionate liberal.

Cheers to Dr. Maddow!

20. And yet Obama and Kaine believe she is not worthy of equal
rights. They see Michelle Bachmann as better in the eyes of their invisible pal than Rachel. Some faith that is.

Once Helen leaves the room, you could easily be right. Dr. Maddow is one smart person. Scary smart. Presidential smart. Now wouldn't that be something?

26. I'm a guy, but if I was a chick, I would switch for her too :)
Rachel is a living doll, with a great sense of humor, extremely intelligent, has impeccable integrity, is fair, believes in justice, has compassion and she is just plain hot. I think she would be one of the 'funnest' people in the world to hang with. So when are they going to auction off a date with Rachel on Ebay? Or even a lunch?
