Understandably, we were a contentious bunch prior to the election, when it was painful to post here, but when I came back here a few months ago, this place seemed much more like its old self. Not to sound too corny, but I do love this place, and the people here, and I am grateful beyond words that this website exists.

I doubt it will be that bad again at least not for a long time. We were all just a little crazed I fear.

9. Until '04 we had no reason to be conflicted with each other

Once we had a primary DU split into factions, and unfortunately some people here apparently "keep score".. By the time '08 rolled around there were some people still holding grudges from '04, and just added to their "lists" with the '08 primary ..

Before '04 we had ONE common enemy..GW

that things are looking up for Obama and perhaps that translates to more contentment. I agree...du is a great place.
