And if that weren't bad enough, Maher also repeatedly expressed his deep (and curiously uncritical) admiration for Chris Matthews.

It was so bad that, for an hour, I forgot that Chris Matthews is white.

I guess I am divided about him. My dad is a fan of him and he does such a great job on Hardball, yet has so many moments like the video you linked, make me shudder. But I am not read to throw him out with the garbage.

Weiner talks tough and caves, another centrist trying to get credit for being Progressive without actually doing anything about it. Tweety is just too much like what has gone wrong with politics - no real core beliefs, just the spin of the day, and the other guy has been wrong so many different ways that you can't even reverse engineer the truth from his rants.

His one hour a day should be spent doing what he did tonight.. he's a well-traveled man, and he KNOWS why taxes are higher in Europe and why gasoline CAN sell for so much there, and why it can NEVER here..
