Oil rig cleanup jobs spark arguments
"TEXAS CITY — Police had to break up a few arguments outside the Texas Worksource offices Friday as dozens of people lined up to apply for work to help in the cleanup of the massive oil spill from a BP offshore rig off the Louisiana Coast, police said.

Capt. Brian Goetschius said when the crowd of potential workers grew too big and the line stretched outside the office in the 3200 block of Palmer Highway, some of the potential workers grew restless and a few shoving matches broke out. Police broke up the fracases and Worksource officials cut the line off, and those who would not get into the office to fill out an application left, Goetschius said."
