It took me longer to get breakfast at Panera than it did to get my daughter's birth certificate |
|
They came out with clipboards and pens BEFORE the office opened. I was in the office for 6 minutes.
Went across the parking lot to get breakfast for my wife. After reading the local rag and the Wall Street Journal front page (it is Obama's fault) I finally went back to the BACK pickup point and had to ask if they had mastered making a bacon, egg, and cheese on cibratta.

2. It took me weeks to get just a certificate proving my birth. |
|
Maybe that's because I was older when I tried to get it.
It may depend on the state. It may also depend on how long ago the person requesting the certificate was born. And, it may depend on whether you are actually going in person to the office where you get it or doing the whole request by mail. I had to do mine by mail. It was not a quick and easy process.
