List needed - Wall Street predictions gone wrong
America has a modern-day Oracle of Delphi, it's called "the Dow".

The Dow goes up, the average Joe isn't affected. The Dow goes down, the average Joe isn't affected. But yet, it is used as the north star by so many people and the "liberal" media.

"The market doesn't approve of health care reform, didn't you see it tank yesterday? That means health care reform will bankrupt this country and lead us to socialism!"

The Dow may be treated by some as a litmus test for what's right and wrong, but what is it's record though?

Here, the market predicted a "quick" Iraq War. How'd that turn out again?

And then there's obviously the housing and Internet bubbles.

But are there more?

People used to cut open chickens and "read" their guts for the future, now they use "the Dow". How do we go about demonstrating this?
