As many of you know, last nigh was the Journal's finale. It is being replaced by some show with Jon Meachem of Newsweek and Alliso Stewart, who some may remember from MTV and more may remember as a guest host on Countdown. And so it goes.
I will miss Bill Moyers a lot. He combines Mencken's wit, Murrow's courage and Shields' empathy. Who else will interview the Marxist economist Michael Zweig, the heroic journalist Amy Goodman, the eternal populist Jim Hightower or other dissenters on the Left? Few will dare to do so for it endangers their possibility of future success with our corporate paymasters.
Good luck Bill. Don't be a stranger. There are few like you. A lot of us will miss you.

1. Truly a treasure and the most honest voice in the media, IMO. |

I will miss him terribly.

2. Bill gave a link to his blog last week and asked everyone to stay in touch. |

His show doesn't air until tomorrow here in Ga. so I will not be able to watch his last show until then.

Plus a segment on Iowa left populists. Pretty good show.

I hope that he keeps a hand in it and keeps writing though.
Good luck in all you do, Bill. Thanks for fighting the good fight as long as you have.
