Our pols are so prescient: Mary Landrieu

<http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2010/5/1/862448/-FLASHBACK:-Landrieu-mocks-offshore-drilling-safety-concerns>

"Earlier in the hearing, Landrieu mocked the notion that the environmental and economic risks of offshore drilling were serious, saying "I mean, just the gallons are so minuscule compared to the benefits of U.S. strength and security, the benefits of job creation and energy security. So while there are risks associated with everything, I think you understand that they are quite, quite minimal."

10. They're the children of Vietnamese refugees
They're not real Amurikins. Who cares about them? Have we seen their birff certificates?

2. If you know where she lives, take 10 gallons of crude...
and pour it over her lawn. Even Landrieu would get the message. Minimal...describes her brainpower.

3. “97 percent of it is an extremely thin sheen of relatively light oil”, said she.

Of note, the Louisiana lawmaker has received more than $758,000 from the oil and gas industries over her career on Capitol Hill, according to the Center for Responsive Politics — just under the amount accepted from those same companies by Sen. David Vitter (R-La.), who’s calling today for federal help cleaning up the spill.

4. As a former realtor she is an expert in oil production and environmental matters.
