Thousands attend Tucson May Day rally (AZ immigration law protest)

TUCSON, AZ (KOLD) - Thousands of people are rallying against Arizona's new immigration law in Tucson's Armory Park Saturday.

Counter-demonstrators are also at the rally. KOLD News 13 crews on scene estimate fewer than 100 people in support of SB 1070 are in attendance.

The Tucson May First Coalition and Derechos Humanos are calling for resistance of the new immigration enforcement law.

They are wearing buttons and t-shirts that say "no papers."

But I guess they're not saying that. All those "small government" teabuggers are in support of this Big Brother law.

They're probably afraid to step foot in Armory Park. Decent, God-fearing white folk, lock their car doors and roll their windows all the way up, whenever they have to drive anywhere near there.
