Police Find Explosives in an S.U.V. in Times Square
bomb in Times Square led to the evacuation of thousands of tourists and theatergoers from the area on a warm and busy Saturday evening, the police said.

There was no explosion.

“It appears to be a car bomb left in a Pathfinder between Seventh and Eighth,” said Deputy Commissioner Paul J. Browne, the Police Department’s chief spokesman.

The device, he said, contained “explosive elements” that included “propane tanks, some kind of powder, gasoline and a timing device.”

1. A Pathfinder? These are amateurs. If they want to kill people they should have used a
Toyota.

2. Propane Tanks? If they were 20# tanks like for your Bar B Q...
... that would only be enough to set the car on fire. Not weapons of mass destruction.

3. Yes, this does not read like it's a very well developed weapon.

Can't wait to see this all whored up as yet another "terra'ist attack on Barack HUSSEIN Obama's watch."

Thank goodness this particular domestic terrorist wannabe was so stupid he didn't know how to make a decent explosive device. And since the big pussy just ran away rather than being willing to die for the cause, it was obviously some Timmy McVeigh wannabe. What a stupid-ass.
