And misinformed people feel as though optical scanners are a remedy WHEN THEY ARE NOT. The vote tallying tabulators are just as hackable as the touch screens and the ballots are NEVER scrutinized in this instant gratification society unless the margin of victory is less than 3-5% in various states.
