Because we all know Specter switched to save his own ass. Then Sestak will defeat Toomey.

4. This race has a potential wildcard in it
Remember "Operation Chaos", the effort by Rush Limpballs to have Repukes change their party registrations to Democratic, so as to be able to vote for Hillary (and thus prolong the nomination campaign) in 2008? Since one did not need to change their party registration back to be able to vote in the general election, I'd wager that there are still a lot of Rethugs in Democratic clothing at this point, seeing the possibility to get even with Specter.

The only question is, which way do they strategize? Dump Specter right in the primary, but create a likable Democratic candidate in the fall? Or do they just vote for Specter, crushing Sestak, and then wipe him out in the fall, when an unpopular Specter has to run against a GOP'er?
