Includes a link to an article which discusses the torpedoing of the platform by the North Koreans (which would be a
great shot, btw - though it was most likely related to the cementing of the well), and discussion of a nuclear
weapon detonation to collapse the hole (though why conventional high-pressure explosive couldn't do just as bad a
job at screwing this up worse, without spreading nuclear fallout through the ocean is beyond me). I was trying to think
of similar open blowholes who spew a vile substance that poisons any life in the vicinity that could be used
to plug the hole...

Way more entertaining than watching the video of people leaving a theatre in New York or hearing about a gunlocker of fertilizer being blown open.
