The Chinese curse.

Surely we are experiencing "interesting" times. Wall Street criminals robbing the people blind. Big oil companies polluting our waters and beaches and destroying the lives of many people that depend on that water to make a living. People setting car bombs in Times Square, hoping to kill and maim large numbers of people. Threats and war and rumors of war. How is the common man supposed to keep count?

2. He isn't supposed to keep count.

He is supposed to be drugged by the TV and whatever make believe enemy is current, so that the march to a fascist state can continue.
