Gloria Feldt, Pres. of Planned Parenthood, endorses Jennifer Brunner, Oh for US Senate
There is primary battle going on in Ohio for the empty US Senate seat being vacated by retiring Sen. George Voinvoich, R.

Gloria Feldt, gets it. She gets what is going on in Ohio and spells it out in a blog post. Please read the whole story at the link.

Here is a snip of her post.

"This past week, I learned more about Ohio politics than I ever wanted to know, in particular next Tuesday's (May 4) Democratic primary contest between Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner and Lieutenant Governor Lee Fisher. The winner will go up against Republican Rob Portman in the November general election.

I suggest you read Kelley Bell's Huffington Post column to get more facts and colorful descriptions of the intra-party machinations than I have bandwidth to recount."

3. I had the privilege of hearing and meeting both our candidates a couple of
months ago. While I will support the dem against the repug, Brunner has my primary vote. Between the two, she seemed the most sincere.

4. I too will suport the Dem in Nov. Brunner strikes me as the kind of person that just
does not cave in when she believes in something. The only time she changes her position is when the facts dictate.

We need that kind of thinker in DC. Fisher is OK, but I think Portman will beat him.
