CBS/NYT Poll: Growing optimism about the economy
The latest CBS/NYT poll reflects growing optimism about the economy from the American public. In January 2009, 7% thought the economy was improving and 54% thought it was getting worse. Today, 41% think it's getting better and just 15% think it's getting worse.

6. No less than five different people I know who have been out of work
for a year or more have jobs today...I am starting to see Help Wanted signs at places like Office Depot, Starbucks, Small Motels...etc. Few people yesterday were working on Census forms at my local sandwich shop, I spoke to them, all took this part time through July, all were very happy to be working.

It is getting better every single day!
