4. 1982?
One of my favorite songs from my youth, "1970":

Out of my mind on Saturday night
    1970 rollin' in sight
    Radio burnin' up above
    Beautiful baby, feed my love

All night till I blow away
All night till I blow away
I feel alright, I feel alright

Baby oh baby, burn my heart
Baby oh baby, burn my heart
    Fall apart baby, fall apart
Baby oh baby, burn my heart

All night till I blow away
All night till I blow away

    I feel alright
    I feel alright
And of course Lust for Life wasn't anything to sneeze at!

6. I LOVE Iggy Pop....one of my very favorite artists of all time.
The 1982 reference is for Black Flag (81-86 or 87)

5. blecch. you'll hate me for it, but i basically walked out on a live iggy show.
he was fronting for the pretenders and it was absolutely horrible. WAY too much distortion. i know a thing or two about music, but i couldn't even identify the chord changes. we left our seats and went to furthest/quietest place we could find and waited out the horror until my dear beloved chrissie took the stage.

the pretenders were AMAZING. no mixing problems at all. whatever iggy was once, he was a has-been at best at that show.
