BOYCOTT ProFlowers! They support Hannity, Limbaugh, etc... |
|
They are a big advertiser on Hannity and every chance Hannity gets he plugs them by telling his callers he will send them flowers. It sounds like he is giving them something, when he is just using them as part of his ad. It's sickening. It's Mother's Day Sunday so don't use ProFlowers. If you use them part of your money will be going to Hannity, Beck, LImbaugh and the rest of the hatemongers. Thanks...

I've bought their stuff before and my hubby sent me their flowers a couple times, when they sponsored Al Franken's show.

8. Then if Polis is still running things he should be ashamed of himself! |
|
No advertiser would advertise on shows like Hannity's unless they supported hate, racism and lies. I would rather go broke than advertise and get money that way. Did Polis sell his business to a right wing conservative extremist?

12. As A Former Media Buyer |
|
and knowing that in the flower business there are only handful of holidays where flowers are popular, it would be remiss of any media buyer to boycott those high-rated assholes.

13. But if I owned a business, I would not allow my ads to be ran on those shows period! |
|
I wouldn't let a third party middleman take over my business decisions and taint my business name by advertising on programs which sell hate, racism and fear. How does 'media buying' work? Does it mean getting anyone to run your ads? Don't businesses put conditions on where their ads will be seen or heard? In Proflowers case, I will never do business with them because either 'they' or a 'media buyer' made the decision to advertise on the evil hatemonger Hannity show. I can see a 'media buyer' putting a company out of business real quick.
I have a list of other businesses which give money to right wing hatemongers and I will not do business with them either. If everyone who is against people who make a living by spewing hate stopped doing business with those companies their only customers would be members of the KKK, and I doubt if they buy very many flowers for others. They'd all be white flowers if they did.

4. No! Use Code "Steph" or "Ed" when you buy from ProFlowers! |
|
because they are advertising on both Stephanie Miller's and Ed Schultz' radio shows.

Hartmann (Thom Hartmann) Randi (Randi Rhodes) Rachel (Rachel Maddow) Press (Bill Press) Colmes (Alan Colmes)
Probably some others that I missed.

7. I use Organic Bouquet - with one caveat - order for EARLY delivery for holidays |
|
http://www.organicbouquet.com/because otherwise they get over booked and you can get a pitiful arrangement. Their stuff is AWESOME if you order for early delivery on holidays - once they figure out how to limit orders to available stock then all should be fine...

10. it truly tells someone you care when their discounted flowers come in a box labeled 'pro flowers' |

and if Hannity supports their business and vice-versa, well, that says all the more.

20. I don't care. If they give money to evil liars, why should I trust them? |
|
If Hannity, Beck and Limblah love Proflowers, there must be something wrong with that company. If Proflowers advocated killing all first born male children would you still buy their flowers? I will not support any company that uses it's profits to give money to corrupt, dishonest frauds like right wing radio bullies.
It's my right to stop using them. It's your right to support Limblah, Beck and Hannity. BTW, when you place your order, be sure to put in the discount code box "I support radio terrorists' and you get 10% off! Go for it while quantities last! Your liberal moms will be thrilled to know you spent money so that right wing radio hosts could lie and deceive, while promoting hatred, anger, racism and fear.
