It's an epidemic. Why are so many young women talking like this?

2nd to the last call tonight. Her name was Annie. She and Mike talked about gender affecting elections and MM mentioned various female world leaders. It's not just her. It's an EPIDEMIC. Hers was a classic example of the bizarre croaking, gurgling noise that young women and -- unfortunately -- girls are doing to themselves. WHY?

It's EVERYWHERE now. TV shows, radio, ads, newscasts, offices, someone you know, where you work.............. What is going on?!

WOMEN. USE YOUR REAL VOICES. STOP CROAKING!!!!!!

I listened and tried to understand her point of view. You listened and looked for an opportunity to put her down. Compare the merits of your sliming of that honest kid versus her attempt to express her feelings with a voice that was imperfect and in transition from child to adult. Shame on you.

Your attitude is the one judgemental and "despicable." I'm concerned about these women, girls and some men who adopt this affectation-- an affectation that no one here has recognized. This is not "a voice that was imperfect and in transition from child to adult." It IS an epidemic.

There is no intention here of "trashing" anyone. I did listen and understand her point of view. Your comments are off base and intentionally insulting. "Shame on you." I mentioned it because it was a good example of this thing no one seems to notice-- and it is damn scary hearing a girl THAT young do it.

It is painful to listen to the pain in these voices, the pain of strangling one's own energy even as it is being expressed. It has become so common now that most people don't even acknowledge that it exists. It DIDN'T exist before a dozen years ago and it HAS spread like some evil spore.

If Annie or anyone who cares about her reads this, I would tell them I care about her too. I care about these women who for some reason feel that they have to choke back their words while they're speaking them, drowning the most intimate expression of who we as humans are-- our voices.

13. Erm, it's a dying planet just relax go with the flow, all we can do is love each other before it's.

Anyway's try garlic folks seems to stave off a lot of this respitory stuff going around. It's cheap it's cheerful it works. Specifically garlic cloves.
