How I Found Myself in this Situation…
A new post to my blog...

"So how did I get myself into this situation, contracting a disease that was easy to get rid of at the onset but was instead left to fester for literally decades?

It was not easy. First, let me say that I have always had upper respiratory troubles. Even as a kid I was coughing more than the other kids and, at least once a year, I would come down with a nasty case of the crud.

Please remember this because it plays in to how I became a disabled adult waiting to be green- lighted for a Lung Transplant."

This particular post explains how I think this whole mess in my lungs got started and how many people, including myself, never realized just how bad everything really was...

1. What an incredible story...
And so sad, too...

I am struck by all the missed opportunities, all the mistakes made by the adults in your young life.

Even one good decision could have spared you all of this.

You have done so well, not letting this stop you from doing so much of what you want.

Thank you for sharing your journey with us...

4. Thanks you for sharing the story of your ordeals.
Just decent health care was all you needed.
Damn Damn Damn

I read your other journal re: the oxygen device that Medicare makes you "rent."
That was very illuminating and it is another example of how money can be saved, so the funds can be used for proper healing.

Hang in there.
