Katie: Tell me John.. what makes these people riot? Why are they acting so violent?

JP: Well, Katie, the government has just instituted $38 Billion in budget cuts, slashed civil workers pensions, and raised taxes on the already suffering public. Last night the police murdered a teenager. The tax payers don't feel that they should have to pay for 30 years of government corruption, mismanagement , theft at the highest level, and failure to invest in the future. They want accountability and a transparent political system.


Katie: Does this mean they are angry?

JP: Yes Katie.. they are angry. This could escalate in something unmanageable.

Katie: Well, there you have it. Don't miss my in-depth interview with Ellen Degeneres... and tomorrow night we will answer the question: "Should You Buy a House If You Don't Have a Job?"

Though, in Couric's defense, she is an American and when was the last time Americans took to streets because "They want accountability and a transparent political system."?

Not being an actual journalist, Katie may have fallen for the media's spin that what outrages Americans is the mere thought of "socialized" medicine.

That is what Obama promised the American people. I have yet to see it. Perhaps what we need to do is take to the streets like the tea baggers and demand action on the behalf of the American people instead of trying to combat the tea bagger rallys. What is happening now is not working.

That is one poor interview.

4. You don't just love Cutie Couric? What's wrong with you?

I really love how they go for the easy stories and take lots of time on them and not take on all the hard stories about science and stuff.

When they say Americans don't really understand "___" subject I truly believe them, kind of, but somebody has to tell me at least twice.


I especially love how they always end the show with a 5 minute happy spot to leave me feeling extra special. It also helps me forget what I should be unhappy about.
