1. I think that's kind of mean
I doubt the dog enjoyed the CS gas, and let's be honest, dogs don't really care about human politics.

4. Actually, that dog has become a regular in the midst of Greek protests. He is
apparently a stray that is drawn to the actions and sides with the people, not the police. He apparently takes is citizenship very seriously.

Yesterday's protests:

7. That's all you could come up with? How does it make you feel that
you were able to catch me possibly mistaken about the dog's homelessness? That the dog is wearing a collar is not, in and of itself, evidence that the dog has a steady home. Therefore, you're assertions that, because he's wearing a collar, he must have a home, is no more valid than my assertion that he is "apparently" a stray.

Here he is again...

Or maybe this is his owner:

Ok, OKAY! I give up!

I fucket up! I'm an asshole. Maybe Protest Dog does have a home. Sah-reee!

Actually, you can get me again since I'm only assuming Protest Dog is a "he". Better get to finding our if you can catch me fubarring that assertion too. It'll make you feel REAL GOOD about yourself.

8. Good golly...

You know, sometimes when people see a dog outside, they are not sure whether or not it is a lost dog, a feral dog, or a dog who is just out for a wander and knows perfectly well how to get home.

Thinking it might be a piece of useful information to non-dog people in cyberspace that one indication that "someone owns that dog" is the presence of a collar, I just thought I'd chip that in.

I am sorry to have ruined your life over that mostly idle observation, and I hope your weekend is a whole lot better than whatever happened to you today.

9. Actually, I'm good. Between oil gushers in the GoM, teevee breaking
news all day about abandoned lunch boxes and moving trucks, GASP!, sitting outside a building, and my paycheck not arriving in the mail today when I'm ready to leave for a drive to N. Carolina to surprise my mother for Mother's Day, I am feeling mildly agitated today. In this case, everything after the first paragraph was me just being fecitious. Don't take it personally.

Thanks for the well-wishes for my weekend, which will now be consumed jetting down I-20 at harrowing speeds in order to get to Charlotte sometime on Sunday. Hope yours is more relaxing. :hi:

11. Stray dogs do have collars in Greece
The collar means that he has been vaccinated, not that he has necessarily has an owner

Here's a collection of items on the internet about Kanellos
