On why people don't know shit |
|
well the more I look under the hood as it were, the more I realize the Corp Media actually is a small segment of why people don't know shit.
I can hear the howls.
I have no idea how you will receive this, but brands make your life... yep, what you wear, what you eat, what you use to work on... that makes your identity.
Silly shit like the bread and circus on the TV machine is just part of the brand making, self giving stuff, machine. But it is not as large of a part as I previously believed. So for those wishing for the glorious revolution, here is one movement you may want to know... ADD Busters.

1. not to mention our 'education system' ... |
|
...whose goal is primarily to 'teach to the test': not to teach children to think on their own, to be curious, to read, to question, or most of all, to be an informed citizen.
We're going to be the dumbest fucking country on the planet in about 20 years.

Apparently in Sillycon valley right now, someone has convinced women that stiletto heals are a must. The machinations I'm watching some women go through to "be fashionable" is an incredible sight. Sad how easily they manipulate the proletariat.

4. Those things are uncomfortable. |
|
They wreck your back, too. And people pay $150.00 plus for a few little strappy pieces of leather, or faux leather.
I had an older friend who was a very fashionable young woman during the forties and fifties. She gave me some good tips on how to dress professionally yet comfortably when I was still in the working world. (Some clothing is timeless).
She reminisced about the straight skirts with the very small kick pleats in the back, and the high heels that were a must to go with them. She talked about trying to change trains in a very busy station while dressed like that AND carrying suitcases. She felt like she was hobbled most of the time. She was happy when women weren't forced to torture themselves with that style any more.
She had a few things to say about stockings with seams, too.

3. If I Only I Knew What I Didn't Know |
|
Or knew that I didn't know that I don't know I don't know.
That way at least, I'd know. You know?
